Your mind is like an iceberg

The tip is the conscious mind that controls 5% of what you do and are every day, but underneath lies a much larger part: the subconscious mind that controls 95% of who you are and what you do.

The subconscious contains all the memories, experiences and information accumulated over time that are not actively present in the conscious mind. It is active 24 hours a day.

It contains deep beliefs, limiting beliefs and patterns that influence our behavior without us being aware of it. It processes emotions, works through associations, creates metaphors and meanings and protective behaviors. It does not distinguish between imagination and reality. This is why, for example, you become anxious at the mere thought of a negative scenario.

The Reticular Activating System

This system built into our brain filters the information we perceive.

In fact, of the 11 million bits of information collected by our subconscious every second, we process only 50 of them with our conscious mind.

Its function is to filter information to align it with our beliefs and convictions.

It is our Reticular Activating System that makes us see yellow cars everywhere after we decide that we want to buy a new yellow car.

Reprogramming our beliefs therefore allows us to notice opportunities and gather new life experiences that are in line with these new beliefs.

Change your beliefs, change your reality.

Neuroplasticity

Neurons that fire together, wire together.

Every time you think a thought and produce an emotion, specific neurons fire together. If you think the same thought multiple times, these neurons that fire together connect, to make the activation path more automatic and faster. This is how we create habits.

RTT works on our brain’s ability to continually change itself, creating new neural pathways and deactivating others.

In the session, we defuse those beliefs, thoughts and emotions that are at the root of the problem, and then create new neural pathways by installing new thoughts and beliefs.

Neuroni sinapsi

Brain waves

With the RTT method you access the subconscious mind where there are all the memories and beliefs and emotions that cause the problem you are facing.

To do this, you need to slow down your brain and work in a more relaxed state where the conscious brain slows down and you have access to the subconscious mind.

When you go into hypnosis, which is a completely natural state, your brain produces Alpha and Theta waves.

We are in Alpha, Theta and Delta waves from 50% to 80% of our day. And up to the age of 7 we are always in Theta waves (that’s why your imagination was much bigger and you believed in Santa Claus).

In a state of hypnosis you are more suggestible, and therefore you accept suggestions more easily because the conscious mind does not filter and judge as it does when you are in a normal state of alert (Beta state).
